Bojtár loves to train. In the morning he gets all antsy if one of us don’t give him something to do. We’ve even stopped giving him regular meals; we’ve had to chop his food smaller to get more training each day. On the way to class we’ve spent a few weeks working on going to class etiquette, and not get super excited pulling and barking. And to vent this we’ve enrolled him in every sport we can think of.

  1. BulletLevels Class (read more)

  2. Levels is essentially a framework for training your dog. We have just started our third set of classes with Heather and Joelle. You can read all about his work in levels here

  3. BulletRetrieving Class

  4. Besides a weekly Levels class we are also doing a bunch of “Extra Curricular” activities. We have just completed our second set of agility classes. Mom takes me to these and I’ve worked on jumps, tunnels-my favourite!, weave poles, boards, and rear end awareness.  It’s so much fun, but I’m often too excited to listen.

  5. BulletConformation (read more)

  6. We are competing in formal conformation dog shows. We have a few shows coming up, and we’d love to see you there.

  7. BulletHerding  (read more)

  8. Currently working with Cindy Ghent at Belmedow Farms. She starting us working with sheep, and we’ll see where that takes us.

  9. BulletDog Walks

  10. Every week we go to a dog walk held by Erika. There we get some off leash training, and field training of the things we learnt in puppy class. We also get some fun play time. These classes have been about the best for working on recalls, keeps him safe, and loose leash walking. But Bojtár likes the play time best.
